Free Sitemap XML Generator

Generate a valid XML sitemap from the canonical URLs you want search engines to discover. Add only indexable pages, then submit the finished sitemap in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.

Paste your site's URLs (one per line) to generate a search-engine-ready sitemap.xml. Built for indie founders and SEO-minded builders who want a valid sitemap without installing a plugin. Set a default priority and change frequency, then copy or download.

One URL per line. Bare domains get an https:// prefix. Duplicates and blank lines are dropped.

Default priority
Change frequency

Add at least one valid URL above to generate your sitemap.

How it works

Each line becomes a <url> entry inside a standard <urlset>. Priority hints relative importance (0.0–1.0) and change frequency tells crawlers how often a page updates — both are optional. Save the file as sitemap.xml at your site root and reference it from robots.txt.

What URLs belong in a sitemap?

Include the canonical, public URLs you want to appear in search results. Exclude redirects, duplicate variants, private dashboards, search-result pages, and pages marked noindex. A sitemap is a discovery signal, not a guarantee that every URL will rank.

How often should I update a sitemap?

Update your sitemap whenever you publish, materially revise, or remove an indexable page. For most sites, generating it automatically from the same catalog or CMS that publishes pages is safer than maintaining a manual list.
